Hannah Grimes Center
The goal of this class is to demystify financial reporting and learn basic analysis skills. Attendees should have a basic knowledge of three financial statements, either by experience or having attended Financial Statements 101 class. We will quickly review Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow formats.
The bulk of the seminar will focus on discussing key financial ratios, what they tell us and how to calculate them. Financial statements and ratios can help diagnose a problem in your business and determine if the business has a cold, the flu or a terminal illness. Although we will use Sample Company Financial Reports for our discussion, please feel free to bring your own financial statements or cash flows that relate to your business. Also, year to date income statements by month will be useful.
When you leave the seminar, we want you to feel more confident in using financial reports to evaluate the health of your business.
Cost $20.00 (Scholarships available)
