“You get what you negotiate.” There are many techniques and concepts to be aware of when entering negotiations to make sure you come away with what you want and to make sure you don’t give away more than you have to. We will learn about some fundamental techniques that all good negotiators use to get what they want. We will review what techniques might be employed by those on the other side of the table with whom we will negotiate, so this covers negotiations from both sides of the table. You will come away with a set of tools to use in the preparation of your next negotiation, the execution of the negotiating process and how to follow on afterwards.
This seminar is appropriate for anyone who needs to negotiate anything. From sole proprietors, to managers who conduct performance reviews, to employees who are being reviewed or looking for a job, to someone buying a house or a vehicle.
