JEAN HAMMOND is a co-founder and partner at LearnLaunch. She is also the founder of JPH Associates. A serial entrepreneur, she co-founded AXON Networks, which was acquired by 3Com, led 3Com WAN marketing activities and also founded Quarry Technologies. Jean is an active angel investor focusing on early stage high-tech and high-growth start-ups. She is a member of Hub Angels and Launchpad Venture Group, and she is the founder of the active portfolio of Golden Seeds. She has an active portfolio and has served as a director or advisor with over 30 of the companies within her portfolio

BARBARA is an angel investor with a personal portfolio of over 30 investments. In addition to her membership in Astia and Pipeline Angels, she is a member of the Portfolia Funds investment committee for the Rising Tide Fund and the Enterprise Fund. Her portfolio consists of a broad range of high-growth technology companies across the US and in Europe.

All of the companies in Barbara's personal portfolio had a woman on the founding team at the time of investment. Over 75% of the companies have a woman CEO. Since 2016 Barbara has required that there be a woman of color on the founding team, which is easy to do with such great deal flow.

Maine Angels is Maine’s angel investment network in southern Maine with a growing subchapter in Bangor. Since first investment in 2004, Maine Angels has been a cooperative membership mechanism for accredited investors to collaboratively identify, vet & individually make investments in promising northern New England early-stage companies, through pooling of the group resources and expertise. The consolidated portfolio is now over $20.7M of investments in over 74 New England companies. There are currently over 65 members, 11 of whom are women. Mainebiz recognized Sandra as a 2013 Woman to Watch.

SANDRA is President of the Board of Trustees of a private out-of-state grant-making foundation, where she has been an active Trustee since 1990. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors of CEI Ventures, Inc, a socially responsible venture capital fund. She is on the Top Gun Mentor advisory board as well as the MxG Advisory Board. She is also Principal of Sea Cove Solutions, enhancing connections and creating linkages in innovation and the ecosystem with an intentional focus on female entrepreneurship.
