The difference between angel investors and a venture capital firm aren’t really that dramatic. Angel investors typically don’t invest large chunks of money, venture capitalists do. Angel investors generally aren’t investing other peoples’ money, they’re investing out of their own pockets whereas venture capital firms have raised money from investors and are deploying that into early stage companies for their investors. But generally speaking, they have the same interests: they want early stage companies to have the resources they need to explore markets, to determine whether or not their products have the potential to be significant, and for those companies to be successful.
