Understand that this is a two-way interview. It may feel as an entrepreneur that you’re desperate for the money and often I know it feels that that’s the way it should be. But, getting money from an investor who you can’t work with is worse than not having money.

So, understand that it’s a two-way street and so the questions I would ask and what I asked when I was an entrepreneur would be, “hey, tell me about the last three investments you made and why you made those decisions.” And then, “why don’t you tell me about the last three that you passed on as well.”

It’s really always good and it also shows a lot of maturity as an entrepreneur if you can turn the tables on the investor. Most good investors are expecting that and want that.
