Wasabi Ventures is an early stage VC firm with a very hands on approach. We have offices on both coasts: both in New Hampshire, Baltimore, and Silicon Valley. Our approach is to meddle in things primarily while they’re at the idea phase. Now that may sound very funny if you talk to most venture capital firms, but we’re a pretty funny firm. And in the last thirteen years of our operation, we’ve been a part of funding two hundred startups and most of those were funded at the idea phase, meaning we found somebody really smart that we like and we decided to build a company with them and that’s where we focus. Every venture capital firm has their own place and their own niche and we gravitate to the earliest phase, working with the earliest stage with inventors.
